A leading foodservice supply chain platform, BEST UNION (Baimeng Supply Chain), has officially announced the launch of its global expansion strategy, with Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as its first overseas destination.
This milestone marks the company’s transition of its mature “supply chain + digitalization” model from China to Southeast Asia, offering local foodservice businesses a one-stop procurement solution.
Expanding Core Capabilities into Southeast Asia
In Malaysia, BEST UNION will focus on three core categories: foodservice supplies, professional kitchen equipment, and eco-friendly paper packaging materials.
Building on its proven domestic supply chain network, the company combines China’s strong manufacturing ecosystem with localized operations to address key pain points in the Malaysian market, including high procurement costs, fragmented sourcing channels, and slow after-sales response.
Localization & Compliance Strategy
To adapt to local market requirements, BEST UNION has made full preparations in product selection and regulatory compliance.
All products entering Malaysia will strictly comply with local standards. Kitchen equipment will be adapted for UK-standard voltage and tropical climate conditions. Paper packaging products will prioritize eco-friendly materials certified for Halal compliance, enabling service across Malaysia’s diverse foodservice sectors.
Leadership Vision
The Founder and CEO of BEST UNION stated:
“Global expansion is not simply about exporting goods—it is about exporting capabilities. Kuala Lumpur, as a key commercial hub in Southeast Asia, has a dynamic and fast-growing foodservice market. Through Buyspeed, we aim to combine China’s supply chain efficiency with local market needs, redefining procurement with ‘local service + direct sourcing’ and becoming a trusted partner for Malaysia’s foodservice industry.”
Digital Platform & Future Development
The project lead of Buyspeed Malaysia revealed that while the initial phase will focus on offline operations, the company plans to introduce its dedicated digital procurement platform in Malaysia in the future.
This will enable data isolation, dedicated service channels, and warehouse-to-store direct fulfillment, bringing the same “fast-response supply chain experience” to local customers.
The Kuala Lumpur team has already been established, and both showroom and warehouse facilities are currently under preparation.
Looking ahead, BEST UNION will use Kuala Lumpur as a strategic hub to expand across Southeast Asia and accelerate the global expansion of China’s supply chain ecosystem.
